OPPO burns bright at Sunburn in Kolkata
Giant inflatables of brand mascot Ollies, selfie booths caught the imagination of audiences
OPPO, with its aggressive marketing blitz at Sunburn, made its presence felt at one of the most awaited music festivals in Kolkata. Huge and mini Ollies were the first to grab the audience’s attention at the venue. The selfie kiosks were the must-go destination for the college brigade. OPPO, as the key sponsor, engaged some 9,000 youth population and college-goers by installing an LED screen at a selfie corner. To promote Selfie Expert dual selfie camera, F3 and F3 Plus, the daylong event was created to allow the youths to take their selfies.
Arvik Sarkar, Brand Manager, OPPO, West Bengal says, “We feel great to be a part of Sunburn festival this year. We targeted the youth and Sunburn being the music festival, our target of reaching the youths had good response. They had shown interest in the camera and technology.”
OPPO has organised selfie booths this year in cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and now Kolkata and the brand plans to connect with Pune party-revellers this winter.
