Amazon creates stir with OOH innovation for Mirzapur 2 launch

To create excitement amongst masses about the launch of second season of Amazon’s web series Mirzapur 2, the OTT brand undertook an innovative gig on a billboard in Mumbai. The objective of the innovation was to create a recall for the show by recreating the flavor of the show in a larger than life manner.

Mirzapur 2 marketing strategy involved digital billboards with YouTube masthead ad to redirect the users to Prime and watch the series, along with traditional OOH ads. The prominent hashtags used are # MirzapurOnPrime #Mirzapur2, #MS2W, and #yehhaimirzapur.

The OOH innovation handled by the Active Media Innovations. The real time call to action instigated masses and created a direct interaction with the outdoor innovation, helping the series in gaining popularity.
