Leading OOH media owning firm Signpost India has bagged the advertising and sponsorship rights at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata. The OOH firm outbid competition from some of the biggest players in the airport media space to win the rights for a period of 10 years.
The Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the fifth busiest airport in the country that clocked over 14 million passenger movement in the financial year 2015-16. The airport has flights operating to a whole gamut of domestic and international destinations that include Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, and South-East Asian countries. In 2014 and 2015, the airport was awarded by the Airport Council International for being the Best Improved Airport in the Asia-Pacific region. Thirty five national and international carriers (passenger and cargo) are operating at this airport.
