Globally, OOH is undergoing transformative changes, powered by new technologies and data application. The Indian OOH landscape is beginning to see some of these changes, and at the pace at which the national economy is growing and with that the advertising business as a whole, the OOH transformation is expected to come about at an accelerated pace. 

Against this backdrop, in the upcoming OOH Advertising Convention (OAC) -- formerly the Outdoor Advertising Convention – that will be organised in the city of Bengaluru at the upscale Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Manyata Business Park on July 26-27, 2024, Melanie Lindquist, Managing Director, Talon Asia Pacific will be speaking on the theme ‘Beyond billboards - the new age of OOH’.

Melanie is an awarded media and marketing professional across multiple brands in radio, digital, television and out-of-home for the past two decades. Based in Singapore, she is the Managing Director for Talon's Asia Pacific Operations - the independent full service Out of Home agency dedicated to driving client value through expertise, creativity, data and proprietary technology.

In the session at OAC 2024, Melanie will be sharing her perspectives on the emerging role of specialist agencies in a changing OOH/DOOH world that sees rising use of automation / programmatic platforms, growing DOOH networks, among others.

OAC 2024, the 18th edition of the annual OOH convention in India since its inception in 2005, will have ‘OOH: Navigating The New Frontier’ as the over-arching theme.

The 2-day convention will feature talks & presentations, fireside chats, focused discussions and master-classes on business strategies, investment avenues, technologies, creative solutions, and collaborations that bring to bear the enormous potential of OOH business, and effective use of technology and creative solutions to deliver extraordinary brand and consumer experiences on diverse OOH formats.
