The new media formats are installed to suffice the increasing brand’s demand for metro advertising


After acquisition spree, eg. communications expands its media options by adding new advertising formats at the existing metro stations. Recently, a leading metro player in Delhi, has add backlit panels of 5/10 feet at the Rajiv Chowk metro station near the upper ground concourse area. The company has plans to install total 8 panels out of which 4 have been installed and the rest will be erected soon.

“The new media i.e. a part of the existing demand, is designed to complement the existing media formats as well as increasing demands from advertisers”, shares Praveen Gupta, Director, eg communications. TVS is the first brand to take new format.

The company has plans to install a new set of formats at different station handled by them where the stations high in demand catering to large footfall will be covered first. The formats design will differ from station to station depending upon the given space, says Gupta talking about the new media expansion plan.

The OOH media owning firm handles the station branding rights for 16 stations that include Rajiv Chowk, Vishwavidyalaya, and Kashmere Gate.
