JCDecaux India introduces digital media at KIA, Bangalore

The new airport media includes a mega video wall, six digital MUPIs and eight digital suspended screens

JCDecaux India unveils a network of high definition digital assets at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), Bangalore. The new airport media includes a mega video wall, six digital MUPIs and eight digital suspended screens, located in the Domestic Departure Retail Zone 1, Domestic Security Hold Area and Domestic Arrival corridor, respectively.

"To reflect the dynamic nature of the airport environment and to remain on the cutting-edge of media, JCDecaux constantly upgrade its offerings to advertisers by developing new products, networks, and concepts,” says Olivier Heroguelle, Managing Director, JCDecaux India.

The advertising propositions are being offered through the combination of design and ideal location. Strategically positioned along passengers' key-routes, the digital media ensure optimal visibility at eye level.  Along with digital media's creative capacity, the airport environment also serves as a platform where passengers have dwell time to actively appreciate the opportunities for distraction that digital can deliver.

The media is already a hit among advertisers in Bangalore; the media has been utilised by brands like Samsung, Cleartrip, Tanishq and Madhya Pradesh Invest.

Samsung Mobile Phones which is currently running a campaign on the mega video wall wanted to create domination at a prominent location at the airport for the launch of their latest modal Samsung Galaxy S-5. The giant and dynamic HD format of the video wall came out as an obvious answer for a larger-than-life campaign displaying exciting new features of the mobile.
