Gurugram MC, Ambience Mall lock horns over media
The mall owner broke the seal of confiscated media wherein the authority has filed an FIR against the mall
Ambience Mall, Gurugram has taken a rebellious step to remove the curbs placed on the media assets at the mall by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG). The mall team apparently broke open the seal, and the MCG subsequently filed an FIR case against the mall management on the matter. Now, the investigation is underway. This development was confirmed by an MCG official.
The matter came to a head last week. MCG took action against some of the malls and Huda City Centre metro station, for putting what was described as unauthorised media. The MCG is open to permitting advertising but mandates that the body’s new Outdoor Advertising Policy 2018 must be adhered to and due permissions must be obtained.
