LPFLEX wins major MMRDA signage, graphics, wayfinding project for Mumbai Metro
The project, aligned with the ‘Mumbai in Minutes’ campaign, entails design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of signage, graphics and wayfinders in the elevated stations of Mumbai Metro.
LPFLEX has won a major signage, graphics and wayfinding project from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority – Mumbai Metro. The scope of work includes design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of signage, graphics and wayfinders in the elevated stations of Mumbai Metro.
LPFLEX, a subsidiary of Maas & Roos, is a signage consultancy & manufacturer specialising in external and internal branding solutions, wayfinding, and architectural engineering projects with factories in Chennai, Dubai and Germany. Earlier, the company has bagged a major project at the Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (HIAL) that in already in execution stage. The Mumbai Metro work has made the Q1 of 2021 even sweeter for LPFLEX.
“This is our second major project of the year after commencement HIAL project which is on track for delivery. Mumbai Metro work is another feather in the cap,” said Amit Kapani, Pradhan Sewak, LPFLEX India.
MMRDA’s expanding rail network is in line with their ‘Mumbai in Minutes Campaign’. The elevated stations improve connectivity and LPFLEX is one of the key associates in MMRDA’s commitment to ‘Make in India’ campaign.
“Being a Mumbaikar all my life, it’s a proud moment to be working on this landmark project, which will definitely change the lifeline. Signages play a very vital role for commuters, hence we will be using our state-of-the-art Chennai plant in co-ordination with our project team in Mumbai. We are committed to delivering the project in the next 100 days,” added Amit Kapani.
This expansion of Mumbai Metro will be the lifeline of Mumbai and awarding the contract to LPFLEX (98th year in sign making) ensures that MMRDA is committed to quality, timely delivery and long lasting signages.
