Over the last 2-3 years, a significant number of E-com brands have made their presence on the OOH landscape. While many of the brands launched their OOH campaigns in short spells, a few of the brands have maintained visible presence in the outdoor. The key question is, to what extent OOH advertising helps E-com brands to build their customer base. Rahul Taneja, Chief Business Officer, Jabong, will be touching upon this subject in his address on the theme “How OOH helps E-com brands in customer acquisition? Opportunities & Challenges on Day 1 of the 2-day Outdoor Advertising Convention that gets underway at Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon tomorrow.

Rahul is a consumer-oriented business leader with experience of accelerating teams and businesses at Fortune 500 organisations (Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Philips) and an eCommerce startup (Rang7.com). He has led sales and profit growth across large brands (Lay’s India), turnarounds (HealthCare ANZ) and has ramped up small businesses (Home Lighting India, Rang7.com).

Before joining Jabong, Rahul was VP, Head – Category Management at Snapdeal. Prior to that he was Senior Director, Business Head – Home Lighting at Philips. He co-founded Rang7.com in 2008. Before that Rahul worked with PepsiCo India and P&G Singapore. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
