Raghav Subramanian, Habeeb Nizamudin to speak on media planning & OOH at OAC 2018

The media planner’s approach to OOH has a great bearing on brands spends on the medium. Today, as the OOH industry forays into new and unchartered areas, some of which are tech-led or infrastructure-based, the moot question is, are the media planners fully cognizant of the new potentials of the media in delivering big for advertising brands. Media industry veterans Raghav Subramanian and Habeeb Nizamudin, who between them have nearly a decade-long experience in the media industry with a strong foothold in the planning space, will be speaking on the theme ‘OOH Connects, Influences, Inspires, Activates, Amplifies! Are media planners listening?’, at the Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) which will be organised at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Powai, Mumbai during July 27-28, 2018. Raghav Subramanian is COO (Partnerships), IPG Mediabrands – India, and Habeeb Nizamudin is CMO, IPG Mediabrands – India.

With 25 years+ across various disciplines of marketing, Raghav Subramanian has experience to bring a holistic perspective of communication and business (consumer research, marketing analytics, media strategy and brand management, media management and consulting).

Having started his career in advertising at Ogilvy, Raghav is armed with over 20 years of experience and has worked on brands such as American Express, Dabur, ITC Agro and Godfrey Phillips India. He has spent around a decade in GroupM, New York at its business science division, after which he returned to India and was the Chief Strategy Officer at Publicis Media (ZenithOptimedia and Starcom Mediavest). He joined Lintas Media Group as COO to run the Media Services.

He turned an entrepreneur along with industry veteran Sudha Natrajan and started a brand and media consulting company – TMC. Raghav worked with many blue-chip clients to partner them in the area of business solutions.

An industry professional for the last 25+ years, Habeeb has built a body of experience across multiple organisations like The Times of India, Ogilvy, Mindshare, Lodestar UM, IPG Mediabrands. Awarded the “Future Advertising Leaders” early in his career, Habeeb built an award winning body of work including the creation of Kodak Moments – India’s first ever gold at Cannes.

Habeeb is a seasoned professional with valuable experience built by working across a wide portfolio of clients like – Unilever, Kodak, ICICI, Cadbury’s, Henkel, L’Oreal, Samsung, Coke, Mahindra, Exide and businesses across sectors such as automotive, technology, consumer durables, etc. He has proven expertise in driving growth through creating, identifying, forecasting new business streams and also managing the development of new solution models for brands / businesses.

Amongst the earliest media professionals in the country involved in the digital solutions business, Habeeb worked in New York on the IBM, Jaguar global businesses and was part of the core team that set up Ogilvy Interactive in India. He is an ideator and mentor to startups as part of the CIIE (IIM Ahmedabad) incubation programme.
