The OOH Advertising Convention (OAC) is set to introduce a special highlight in its 19th edition in Mumbai: The Young Outdoorian Creative Contest (YOC).  The contest is open to creative agency team members who are below 30 years of age. Conceived as an interactive event, YOC aims to celebrate fresh, new creative talent and champion ‘Out-of-Box thinking for Out-of-Home Advertising’.  

Participants will be divided into various teams, each paired as Art-Copy, Art-Strategy, or Copy-Social. These teams will receive a specific theme and campaign brief from Abhishek Shetty, Marketing Head, Swiggy Instamart, for an actual brand campaign. Abhishek Shetty comes with 16 years of experience across consumer-first categories like OTT, Quick Commerce, Fashion Retail, and E-commerce. He has consistently helped brands scale relevance, retention, and recall. Most recently, at Swiggy Instamart, he has led the brand to its highest-ever monthly users, built viral cultural moments, and delivered strong marketing efficiency—all by blending brand building with data-led growth thinking.

A distinguished jury panel, comprising Creative Heads from leading creative agencies, will evaluate the submissions. Following their assessment, two teams will be selected, with one declared as the winner and the other as the runner-up. Winners will be announced and felicitated with special prizes on the evening of July 19th during the OOH Advertising Awards ceremony. The winning team will receive a highly coveted prize: a sponsored Air Ticket, three nights’ accommodation, and an entry pass for Adfest March 2026 in Pattaya, Thailand. They will also be invited to the OAC to receive their award. The runner-up team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
