Hanneli Slabber to speak on’Outdoor Media – How it works for my brand’ at OAC 2014
As Country Manager for South African Tourism in India, Slabber markets South African destinations to Indian audiences
Advertising brands typically seek proof points on how a media can deliver the desired impact. While data points can help meet some of the information needs of brand custodians that plan to take the outdoor route to connect with their target audiences, one of the proven ways to assess the likely RoI from OOH advertising is by learning from the experiences of different brands that have tested the medium.
The upcoming 10th Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC), which will be held in Goa during July 4-5 this year, will host a session on’Outdoor Media – How it works for my brand’. This session will be addressed by Hanneli Slabber who is Country Manager for South African Tourism in India.
Slabber is a widely experienced professional and spearheads the initiatives of the South African national tourism board in India. Her core responsibility is to effectively market the South African destination to Indian audiences and help further increase the growth of Indian arrivals to the country. Prior to this role, she was Global Product Head for the board and was based in South Africa.
Slabber began her career began her career in the hotel industry before moving to sales and marketing. With experiences in both inbound and outbound companies, she was heading Contiki Holidays before moving to South African Tourism. She holds an Honour’s Degree in Applied Anthropology from the University of Pretoria.
