Describing the 10th edition of Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) as a significant milestone for the OOH industry, Mr Sunder Hemrajani, MD, Times OOH, said in his concluding remarks that this year’s convention was a big leap in terms of content and engagement. Stating that he has attended all edition of the annual event since 2008, Hemrajani said this edition was special. He was appreciated the event’s focus on themes like digital OOH, luxury brand advertising in OOH, etc.
Hemrajani said the presence of a significant number of brand marketers at the event underlined the growing significance of the convention. He added that the attention to quality that was seen during the course of the convention was far more important any just “quantity.
Hemrajani said the quality of engagement and the presence of brand marketers are central to the industry’s thrust on demand creation. He said in closing that the Indian OOH industry should look to overhaul its approach and redefine itself in the emerging business environment.
