Ammar Millwala, Head of Integrated Media at Aditya Birla Capital, has joined the jury panel for the OOH Advertising Awards (OAA) 2025. His experience in integrated media and brand marketing will contribute to the evaluation process.
The OOH Advertising Awards are a central component of the OOH Advertising Convention (OAC) 2025, scheduled for July 18-19, 2025, at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake. The OAA ceremony, where winning campaigns will be recognized, is set to take place on the evening of July 19, 2025. This 19th edition of OAC will focus on the theme “Mapping a New OOH-scape,” exploring new trends and directions for the OOH medium.
Ammar Millwala is an accomplished media marketing professional with over 16 years of experience, Ammar specializes in integrated media and brand marketing. He is recognized as a strategic and performance-focused leader, with core competencies spanning media strategy, planning, investments, agency management, media partnerships, media audit, and media innovations. Throughout his career, Ammar has collaborated with multinational brands across diverse sectors, including Disney Star, VIP Bags, Future Group, SBI Mutual Fund, Axis Bank, FXTM, General Mills, Novartis, and Nivea, delivering comprehensive 360-degree media marketing solutions. Currently, Ammar leads integrated media for Aditya Birla Capital and its subsidiary companies as the Head of Media, focusing on driving media strategy, planning, investments, and audit to enhance media efficiencies and campaign effectiveness.
Commenting on his involvement as a jury member, Ammar stated, “Whilst this is my second year on the jury panel, I would be excited to evaluate strategic planning of brand campaigns and how brands have leveraged AI/tech-led innovations at best for storytelling their audiences breaking the clutter.”
Regarding the influence of creativity and AI in recent campaigns, Ammar detailed his judging focus: “Incorporating AI-generated and creative images on digital billboards, brands are not just displaying content but creating dynamic, personalized experiences that evolve in their storytelling. As a jury, I would certainly evaluate how brands connect and engage with audiences using tech.”
On the importance of the OOH Advertising Awards for the medium, Ammar emphasized, “Certainly, OOH Advertising Awards are crucial for the medium. It recognizes fantabulous collaboration and work done between brands and agencies, motivating all to keep doing that extra bit and leverage this medium to its fullest.”
