Google launches teaser campaign around its soon-to-be launched smartphones
The brand takes the OOH medium by storm worldwide to create a suspense around its mobile launch event
Google has used the OOH media in a big way to create a suspense around its soon to be launched smartphones. The launch event is scheduled on October 4 where the second generation Pixel smartphones will be unveiled. Interestingly, the OOH campaign creative states “Ask more of your phone” with the multi-colored G logo and October 4 at the bottom, deployed across metro cities i.e. Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.
The OOH campaign in India, a part of the brand’s global marketing push, has been executed in several other international markets with the same creative and clutter breaking strategy. Considering the growing concentration of Google on OOH, the brand has become one of the top spenders in the OOH global market along with Facebook.
In India, Google’s OOH mandate is handled by Kinetic India.
