Swiggy Scenes rolls out ‘Un-Coop Yourself’ activation ahead of New Year’s Eve
Installed in a public setting, the structure invites passersby to engage with it using an external buzzer. Once activated, the enclosed space dramatically transforms into a party zone, complete with music, dynamic lighting and a disco ball.
Swiggy Scenes has rolled out a year-end on-ground activation titled ‘Un-Coop Yourself’, designed to encourage people to step out of their homes and experience New Year’s Eve celebrations happening across their cities.
The activation centres around a life-sized wooden installation that resembles a cramped indoor living space. The setup recreates a familiar at-home New Year’s Eve scenario, complete with a sofa, television, ambient lighting and a single individual — reflecting how many people end up spending the night indoors.
Installed in a public setting, the structure invites passersby to engage with it using an external buzzer. Once activated, the enclosed space dramatically transforms into a party zone, complete with music, dynamic lighting and a disco ball. The sudden shift is meant to visually and emotionally contrast staying cooped up at home with the energy of stepping out to celebrate.
Beyond the spectacle, the installation acts as a discovery touchpoint for Swiggy Scenes, directing audiences to the platform where they can explore nearby New Year’s Eve events. These include live gigs, rooftop parties, brunches and other hyperlocal experiences available across cities.
Through Un-Coop Yourself, Swiggy Scenes reinforces its positioning as a hyperlocal discovery platform, focused on helping users find and access events and experiences happening around them — turning the idea of going out into something as effortless as opening an app.
