Vikram Sakhuja of Madison Media to be part of thought-provoking panel discussion at OAC 2025
Vikram Sakhuja, who comes with a distinguished career spanning decades across top-tier marketing and media organizations, will be part of a thought-provoking panel discussion on the topic: ‘OOH’s question to mainline agencies: Hum Aapke Hain Kaun?’ at OAC 2025 to be held in Mumbai on July 18 and 19.
Vikram Sakhuja, Group CEO of Madison Media & OOH at Madison World, a towering figure in the Indian media landscape, will lend his expertise to a crucial panel discussion at the upcoming OOH Advertising Convention (OAC) 2025. He will be a panelist on the thought-provoking topic: ‘OOH’s question to mainline agencies: Hum Aapke Hain Kaun?’
An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Calcutta, Vikram Sakhuja boasts of a distinguished career spanning decades across top-tier marketing and media organizations. He began his journey at Procter & Gamble, handling Marketing Research and Media, before moving to Coca-Cola, where he managed the brand marketing portfolio. He then played a pivotal role in setting up the marketing department as Executive VP at Star TV Network. From 2002, Vikram held a series of leadership positions at GroupM, starting as Managing Director of MindShare Fulcrum, progressing to MD of MindShare South Asia, and serving as CEO of GroupM South Asia for seven years. His global leadership extended as Worldwide CEO for Maxus for two years, followed by a role as GroupM’s Global Strategic Development Officer, focused on integrating data and technology deeper into media practices. Since 2015, he has partnered with Sam Balsara to lead Madison Media and OOH.
Vikram’s influence extends far beyond his corporate roles; he has served on numerous industry body boards and committees, including ASCI, ABC, RSCI, BARC, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, and various AAAI committees. He currently chairs the IRS and BARC Technical Committee, is a MRUCI and ABC board member, and Co-chairs the IBDF-AAAI subcommittee on payments. A past President and Board member of the Ad Club, he has consistently been recognized among the most influential persons in Indian Media by The Economic Times, and in 2024, received AAAI’s Lifetime Achievement Award. His participation in this panel is expected to ignite a vital discussion on the evolving relationship between Out-of-Home media and mainline advertising agencies.
OAC, since its inception, has served as the OOH industry’s paramount annual congregation. The 19th edition of the event set for July 18-19, 2025, at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, will explore the overarching theme ‘Mapping a New OOH-scape,’ fostering discussions on technological advancements, evolving consumer behaviors, and creative approaches in the OOH space. OAC 2025 will also feature the OAC Expo, showcasing the latest innovations, and will culminate in the OOH Advertising Awards (OAA) 2025 ceremony.
