Lead Ads has acquired the advertising marketing rights at 11 mall properties in different parts of Punjab, in association with Mall Media. The Lead Ads promoters have taken 50% stake in Mall Media which holds the advertising rights at 11 malls. Further, Mall Media has exclusively appointed Lead Ads to market its media. With this acquisition, Lead Ads has expanded its mall media portfolio to 20 in the region.
Talking exclusively to Media4Growth, Shavinder Singh Sandhu, CEO, Lead Ads said, “We have expanded our base from Ludhiana-Chandigarh-Hoshiarpur to Jalandhar, Amritsar, Bathinda, Patiala, Pathankot, Ferozepur, Kotkapura, Khanna, among others. We have become a one stop mall media solutions in Punjab for major media buying agencies.”
Commenting on this venture, Kawaljit Singh, Partner, Mall Media, said, “Lead Ads had acquired this inventory some time back but were marketing the same only to direct clients and not to the big media buying agencies. We believe in the strong marketing skills of Lead Ads and hence it was our strategic choice to market our entire media through Lead Ads to the buying houses.”
Shavinder said that mall media is a preferred advertising destination for brands given that malls are major recreation and hangout places for the youth who are open to seeing new products, schemes and hence pay more time to the advertisements they are exposed to which enables the brands to communicate their message to a captive audience in an effective manner. “Large media buying agencies prefer to work with us because of our professional service with minimum turnaround time,” he said.
