BigBasket turns sibling banter into a ‘Rickshaw Bandhan’
This Raksha Bandhan, BigBasket took the familiar sibling equation to the streets with two autos, a little banter and a whole lot of green.
Sibling relationships come with their own language — teasing, fighting, showing up for each other and, of course, celebrating together. BigBasket brought that familiar dynamic to life on the road with its latest OOH activation, ‘Rickshaw Bandhan’.
The idea turned two BigBasket-branded autos into a sibling duo — one the Bro Auto and the other the Sis Auto. Designed to travel together, the two autos brought the playful chemistry of brothers and sisters into an everyday city environment, giving the Raksha Bandhan communication a distinctly OOH-led expression.
The activation went beyond branding the vehicles. Siblings were invited to step into the experience, ride together, celebrate their bond and create their own Rakhi moment. The moving installation effectively turned an everyday mode of transport into a festive interaction point, allowing the campaign to meet people where they already are.
By giving the campaign a physical form that could move through the streets, BigBasket added an experiential layer to its Raksha Bandhan messaging. The Bro Auto and Sis Auto became the characters of the campaign, while the road became their stage — bringing a familiar sibling dynamic to life with a simple, playful OOH idea.
