Star Gold Select HD depicts Mughal-E-Azam innovatively in the outdoor
A 150 foot tall wall located in Mahim was painted to depict scenes from the epic movie; international & national artists were involved in the wall painting initiative; Active Media Innovations handled the OOH duties
Star Gold Select HD, a channel committed to showcase legendary movies, took one step ahead to make a strong impression on its viewers. The channel created an artistic OOH canvas with wall painting the 57 year old legendary movie ‘Mughal-E-Azam’ on a 150 foot long wall located in Mahim in Mumbai. Scenes from the movie were hand painted on the wall to depict the epic cinema. The initiative was taken by the channel to pay tribute to the iconic actor Dilip Kumar on his birthday celebrated this month and to promote the premiere of the movie on the channel.
The channel tied up with various international artists who flew down to Mumbai to create the picturesque OOH along with JJ School of Arts students. The outdoor duties were handled by Active Media Innovations. Additionally, the artists were briefed to paint the movie by giving a modern touch to the sketches by keeping the movie essence alive in order to connect with the young audience
