Nike’s Out-Of-Home (OOH) campaign for the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025 turned the marathon route into a beacon of encouragement and determination, amplifying the spirit of the event for runners and spectators alike. With vibrant red backgrounds and bold black typography, Nike’s hoardings delivered messages that runners needed most in moments of fatigue and doubt. Statements like “It won’t be easy, but it will be epic” and “This is why you got up so early” spoke directly to the mental resilience required to take on the 42-kilometer challenge. Positioned at pivotal points along the course, these messages served as a boost for runners, reinforcing their belief in the journey they had undertaken. 

Nike’s knack for understanding the mindset of marathoners was evident in taglines such as “Keep going, we’re still with you” and “Believe it or not, you’ll do it again.” These phrases fostered a sense of camaraderie between the runners and the brand, making Nike more than just a sponsor—it became a fellow participant in the marathon experience, metaphorically running alongside each participant.
