Sony Xperia hits Kolkata through OOH route

The brand connects with their target group through large facades involving the billboard format

Sony, one of the most celebrated electronic giant yet again bonded with outdoor media to launch and promote its new range of Smartphone, the new Xperia. Kolkata recently witnessed an ooh campaign having a creative with Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif with the novel mobile phone in all the large hoardings through out the city. Executed by media owners like Adhunnik Mercantile Pvt. Ltd. (AMPL) and Sampark Advertising & Media, the brand has covered all the major transit and premium locations in Kolkata. Sony connected very well with its TG by using mainly all the large hoardings having proportion of 60x20, 20x10 etc. which created a larger than life effect on the mind of the end-users. Thus the strategic outdoor brand campaign of Sony surely has provided greater visibility among the specific audience by increasing the curiosity for the new Xperia. Some of the notable sites are opposite City Centre 2, Mall facade of South City, Gariahat flyover, A.J.C. Bose Road Flyover near Exide, opposite Tollygunge Metro Station, Hiland Park, Alipore, Durgapur Bridge, C.R. Avenue and G.C. Avenue crossing and so on.
