Sonic unveils action-packed activation programme to engage with kids & youth

The channel’s’Sonic Action Mania campaign’ includes gaming championships for the audience, workshops, storytelling sessions, and interaction with the Sonic action heroes

Popular kids and youth action TV channel Sonic has unveiled a series of month-long on-ground activation programmes titled’Sonic Action Mania’ to engage with its target audience. The activation programme is part of the channel’s 360 degree marketing plan that includes gaming championships for the audience. The activities are linked with the channel’s shows like’Power Rangers’,’SupaStrikas’ and’Idaten Jump’.  

A dedicated Sonic Zone has been created in popular malls of Delhi and Mumbai to give kids a flavour of the action and adventure with games and energetic performances, workshops and storytelling sessions to engage them over the weekend.

The channel is also conducting all India van activations, apart from giving the audience the opportunity to meet the famous Sonic action heroes at malls like Phoenix Market City in Kurla, Mumbai and Hamleys outlets in Mumbai and Delhi, on the weekends.

Speaking on the channel’s initiatives, Nina Elavia Jaipuria, EVP & Business Head, Kids Cluster, Viacom18 Media stated, “Sonic fills the need gap for action which, as a genre, was missing earlier from the television screens. A great variety of shows and the huge on-ground engagement is only enhancing the experience of real action, sports and adventure. We hope kids enjoy meeting their favourite action heroes and experience the thrill and the adrenaline rush Sonic has to offer on-air and beyond.
