Western Railway invites bids for ad rights at Surat station

Bids are for 80 display boards, 45 glowsigns

Western Railway’s Mumbai Central Division- Commercial division has floated a tender inviting bids to allot Bulk Advertising Rights at the Surat railway station. Bids are invited in single packets for two formats -- 80 display boards offering 2,456 sq.ft area and 45 glowsigns offering 1,752 sq.ft to be spread across the railway station. The rights will be given for a period of five years, and since the escalation clause is applicable, “The license fee shall escalate by 10% each year after 3rd year of the contract,” states the document.

The EMD for the contract is Rs 44.40 lakh.
