Rooftop media business in Patna continues unabated

Media owners wait favourable Court decision

Following the Patna Municipal Corporation’s move to issue notices to landlords to remove rooftop media from their respective buildings, the media owners took the matter to the High Court where the case is pending hearing. This step has forestalled the civic body’s move to have all rooftop media removed, and it is business as usual, as a result. The media owners have also assured the landlords that they will not be penalized in any way until the Court hears on the matter.

A media operator in the city told Media4Growth that this is only temporary relief from civic action on rooftop media until a Court decision is made.
