Prem Shankar Jha not in charge of SDMC advtg deptt any more

He will continue as Dy. Commissioner of the ULB

Prem Shankar Jha, Deputy Commissioner of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) will no longer be in charge of the urban local body’s advertising department. Citing various reasons, Jha said he would prefer not to be overseeing the advertising department, though he will continue to be in charge of areas like parking that fall within the ambit of his role as the SDMC Dy. Commissioner.

Jha was credited with the achievement of SDMC clocking annual advertising revenues of Rs 407 crore in a matter of three years. He was taken on board as a consultant for the East Delhi Municipal Corporation and managed the outdoor advertising department of North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
