Mumbai media owners’ goodwill gesture on Guru Nanak Jayanthi

In the metropolitan Mumbai area, major media owners offer their hoardings space to spread a special message on the occasion of the 550th Guru Nanak Jayanthi


On the occasion of 550th Guru Nanak Jayanthi, a strong message is delivered on several hoardings across Mumbai. In the memory of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, the symbol of ‘Ek Onkar,’ (God is one) is seen across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.  As part  of the auspicious occasion, media owners collectively offered more than 150 hoardings free of cost, in a goodwill gesture. The campaign was seen at Prime locations in places such as Sion, Bandra, Wadala, Shilphata, Bhandup, Palm Beach, Vashi, Panvel, Mahim and Dahisar.

The campaign was initiated by Ronak Advertising’s Director, Amaardeep Singh who said, “On this 550th birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, all of us [media owners] came together to show a goodwill gesture. This is a big moment for us Sikhs and all the other media owners were very cooperative in this initiative. The media owners will bear all the costs and not a single penny is charged to anyone.”

Media owning firms such as Bright Outdoors, Global Advertisers ,RAYA media  and Creation Publicity have contributed hoardings and gantries among other formats to pan out the campaign across the city.

Speaking about his contribution, Sanjeev Gupta, MD, Global Advertisers said, “I have offered hoardings located at Sion, Bandra, and the Western Expressway leading to the airport. My guru himself is a Sikh and it is because of his inspiration that Global Advertisers contributed to the campaign.”
