Out of 6 participants, the company emerged as the highest bidder
Confirming to Media4Growth, Deepak Singla, Proprietor of the company shared that the company has plans to set-up media in different phases considering the requirement of the market and demand from the advertisers. The company also handles the media rights for Bhatinda Railway Station.
According to media reports, the Municipal Corporation is expected to earn Rs. 37 lakh more as compare to last year through this contract. Earlier the corporation was getting the revenue of Rs. 3 crore per annum; now it has gone up to Rs. 3.37 crore annually. Total 6 players had participated in an e-bidding process namely Kanhaiya Advertisers, Himanshu Advertisers, Shivam, Friends Advertisers, Lovely TV Centre and IS Trading Company.
Prior to this, the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation had adopted this model where the rights are handled by Leafberry and Lead Ads bagged the sole rights for Pathankot, Phagawara and Nawasheher.
