Shared by the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal via tweet calls it fitness along with savings. This first-of-its-kind facility at any railway station in India which directly engages and promotes the initiative.

The hardware is installed by Chargin Kiosk in association with Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation Ltd. (IRSDC). IRSDC has been providing value-added services and user-friendly passenger amenities at the rail stations and developing them into self-sustainable, and world-class facilities.

This concept has been inspired by an international execution where at Vystavochnaya station, west of Moscow, Russia a machine was installed 2013, ahead of the Sochi Olympics offering passengers a free ride on the subway in exchange of 30 squats.
