B’lore media owners still waiting for the Court nod for large formats

Implementation of the BBMP Outdoor Signage & Public Messaging ByLaws 2018 delayed

The Court hearing on the Bangalore hoarding ban that was scheduled on December 16 will take place today. Media owners in the city are hopeful that the hearing will pave the way for the implementation of the Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Advertisement Rules 2019 that is open to large format outdoor advertising. 

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Outdoor Signage & Public Messaging ByLaws 2018 that was expected to come into effect on December 6, 2019 will now be implemented by January 16, 2020.
