Times OOH offers a clean slate for creativity
Times OOH initiates a unique contest for people across all categories to share some creativity on the yet-to-be-launched BQSs.
As OOH is suffering from lack of creativity unlike other advertising media, Times OOH has initiated a unique contest, Times OOH Drawing Board Contest, calling participants on social media to design the Bus Queue Shelters which will be installed by Times OOH. Times OOH Drawing Board Contest is being conducted on Facebook and Twitter, wherein design students, engineers, designers, enthusiasts, architects are invited to participate.

Arghya Chakravarty, CEO, Times OOH said, “Out of home media is an intrinsic part of our daily lives, specially in an age where people are spending more and more time outside the home. OOH is therefore an unavoidable part of our environment. That’s why we thought to involve the citizens of the city to design the BQS. Our aim is to have a media that is not just unobtrusive, but aesthetically pleasing as well. We have invited participation from various cross sections of society, across various disciplines. As long as you have a creative spark, we’d love for you to participate! I eagerly look forward to receive many innovative designs as part of this one-of-a-kind contest.”
The contest also offers rewards like a cash prize of Rs 100,000, an opportunity to work with seasoned professionals, becoming a part of the project execution team and be part of the formal launch of the newly designed Bus Shelters, getting featured in national media and showcasing your profile on Times OOH social media channels. Apart from the Winner, the Jury will also select 2 Runner-ups who will be given a cash prize of Rs. 25000 each. The last date to submit the entries is September 17, 2016.
