Speaking on the theme “Physical infrastructure growth in India – Creating new OOH avenues, Abhay Kumar Mishra, CEO, Mumbai Metro One, explained how the Metro network in Mumbai itself will create compelling advertising options for brands.
He cited examples such as how when a train enters a station a signage of a haircare product shows the hair getting disturbed — making a good enough impact for a hair care brand to advertise and create the right kind of brand awareness and top of mind recall. This and the case of Ambipure where the fragrance of the product was aerated within the train to create the ambience of the pure, fragrant product was well enumerated.
Mumbai Metro, being a new infrastructure provides ample opportunity to create a buzz. Importantly, with the head of the company showing interest in creating innovative galleys it would be a huge advantage for the advertising fraternity to partner with this Metro.
