SDMC to create branding opportunities with hydroponics on flyover pillars
Hydroponics or vertical mini-gardens created on the flyover pillars by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation will be soon available for branding opportunities. The action plan is in accordance with the efforts of Ministry of Housing and Urban affairs to check air pollution
Hydroponics or better known as vertical mini-gardens created on the flyover pillars by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation will be soon available for branding opportunities for brands in Delhi region. Prem Shankar Jha, Deputy Commissioner of SDMC shared that the international concept, which has been replicated in Delhi, will allow brands to execute their branding purposes on the basis of maintenance as their CSR initiatives.
The civic body plans to turn green 142 pillars of 12 flyovers, spaces under which were beautified by the corporation. The action plan is in accordance with the efforts of Ministry of Housing and Urban affairs to check air pollution, in particular, controlling dust pollution.
