OOH Advertising Awards (OAA 2024) has Aatika Ansari, Head of Marketing and Digital, Pernod Ricard India, joining as a member of the distinguished OAA 2024 Jury.

Aatika is the Head of Media and Digital at Pernod Ricard India. She is a new age marketer with expertise in developing and implementing consumer first strategies, driving efficiencies through marketing, and media process transformation that strengthens brand play amongst the young affluent consumers. Previously she has worked with companies like Diageo India, Mediacom and Skoda.

Speaking about whether creativity receives its due recognition in the OOH industry, Aatika says, “The creative landscape of OOH advertising is fast evolving and catching up with the rest of the world. In terms of creativity, we are still catching up with the west, a lot of innovations are limited to execution routes. Would love to see more of it enhancing the consumer experience.”

Talking about how OOH is perceived in brand media planning strategies, Aatika notes “ there has been a distinct shift since the introduction of technology and data in this space. We see more brands deploying outdoors for its strength and role in the media plan rather than just a regular tick mark activity. Introduction of DOOH, and interactivity also gives brand exposure as well as connects the last mile.”

Sharing her perspective on OOH Advertising Awards (OAA), she emphasised, “OAA given its structure, categories and emphasis of excellence strives to recognise good creative work that drives scale, impact for brands. It is a celebration of outstanding work in the OOH space with a standard operating process that ensures objectivity and transparency in the evaluation.”

Spotlighting her eagerness as an OAA 2024 member, Aatika exclaimed, “I am most eager to learn from the entries, the creativity, the hustle of execution and how it is connected to a larger plan for the brand. Also keen to understand how we are moving towards not looking at the medium in a silo but as a way to build our brands.”
