Vodafone celebrates cricket fandom on digital screen
The spectators who came to experience the match were clicked and the GIF went up on a large LED screen mounted on a giant Vodafone Unofficial Sponsor of Fans hoarding
Vodafone, the Unofficial Sponsor of Fans, leverages the digital medium to create an engagement with the cricket maniacs in Pune. The brand ideated a unique and delightful experience for them. Outside Gate No 2 entry, as spectators were walking into the stadium, Vodafone India made arrangements for spectators to get their images clicked, which were further displayed as GIF on a large LED screen mounted on a giant Vodafone Unofficial Sponsor of Fans hoarding.
The stadium, with a capacity of over 37000 spectators, was packed to its capacity as the last of the eliminator matches for this season was played. Beginning 4 pm, the Vodafone booth saw a continued trail of sports fans, who were delighted to see themselves on the LED screen. More than 3000 fans participated in the activity.
