Varanasi airport major gateway to Kumbh Mela & Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019
Orango Solutions gearing up for bigger biz at the airport
Lal Bahadur International Airport, Varanasi, 120 km from the Kumbh Mela 2019 venue, is one of the major gateways for visitors to the big confluence of pilgrims. The airport has already witnessed a remarkable increase in flights from 40 a day to 80, with 24×7 operations.
The airport will also be a major entry point for participants at the upcoming Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) scheduled to take place in the city of Varanasi — Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency — on January 21-23, 2019.
PBD 2019 will have the participation of some 10,000 delegates including diplomats, high ranked officials and affluent NRIs.
With lakhs of passengers expected to arrive and depart from the Varanasi airport in the course of the two mega events, Orango Solutions which holds the sole media rights there is gearing up for a surge in advertising business. The OOH firm is also looking to offer on-ground branding opportunities there.
Recently, Orango Solutions installed mobile charging stations with 50” screens that lend themselves to branding. An iconic 100 ft site has been installed to welcome travellers.
