Bareilly OOH set for a makeover under new Mayor’s directive
The Mayor has initiated stern against unauthorised and improperly placed outdoor media. The overriding objective of the move is to unclutter the city landscape, which will also benefit media owners who have invested in authorised media
Bareilly city in Uttar Pradesh is all set to get an OOH makeover with Dr Umesh Gautam taking over as the Mayor. The Mayor has initiated stern against unauthorised and improperly placed outdoor media. The overriding objective of the move is to unclutter the city landscape.
Confirming this development and calling it as a positive step, Sanjeev Arora, Director, Prakash Publicity Service, said: “There are about 100 illegal sites in the city which diminish the look of the city. The new Mayor brings with him extensive experience and rich knowledge and that will reflect in his positive moves to enhance the city landscape.”
“This step will eventually benefit the legal media owners as illegal sites have badly affected the business,” he said.
