‘Beanz Meanz Heinz’ branded double-decker wows London
The moving billboard, so to say, also served as a strong consumer engagement avenue
To commemorate 50 years of the famous ad slogan ‘Beanz Meanz Heinz’, crafted by ex- advertising executive Maurice Drake, the maker of the famous canned beans has executed a very unique way to engage the audiences in the UK. Heinz has branded a double-decker bus which is on a tour of nine UK cities — London, Southampton, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds and Newcastle – at which visitors can take part in a dining experience on the top floor, involving baked beans with a range of fancy toppings.
Avid traveller Hari Vikram, a senior IT professional working with a global bank in London, checked out the ‘Beanz Meanz Heinz’ branded double-decker while it was stationed in London – the bus is indeed a powerful moving billboard. What’s more, the bus serves as a strong consumer engagement avenue, an idea that could inspire many more brands to follow suit.
