Magnum made a lasting impression in Kolkata with an iconic installation
Standing 18 feet tall, the magnificent Magnum installation was located next to the famed Singhi Park pandal in the city during October 5-11
Unilever’s ice-cream brand Magnum marked an iconic OOH presence in Kolkata during the Durga Puja season with a one-of-its-kind installation. Standing 18 feet tall, the magnificent Magnum installation was located next to the famed Singhi Park pandal in the city during October 5-11. Representing the Magnum colors of brown and gold, the installation was painted in gold and adorned with 3D floral patterns with intricate Bengali motifs.
Durga Puja is a mélange of cultures, thoughts and ideologies; a true celebration of inclusiveness. Through its larger than life installation, Magnum aimed to uplift the festive essence of Durga Puja. It was an endeavor to bring together people from all walks of life to celebrate, indulge and enjoy the mini moments of pleasure with their family and friends.
Sumit Mathur, General Manager, Kwality Walls, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, said: “We were excited to be a part of this extravagant celebration of Durga Puja; the festival that embodies the distinctive Bengali culture. Our larger than life iconic installation was presented in a globally appealing form, yet mirrored the festive zeal and vibe that the City of Joy exudes during the festival. Our carefully crafted range of pure 100% Belgian chocolate ice creams were the perfect treat for Durga Puja, combining the traditional sweetness of Kolkata, while giving people the ultimate luxurious, sensorial delight in Magnum’s typical global style!”
