Vodafone’s Polo fest in Jaipur
The brand’s association with the sport is reflected in the OOH extravaganza aimed at promoting the Vodafone Sirmur Cup 2014.
Vodafone India organized an annual Polo extravaganza called Vodafone Sirmur Cup 2014 in association with the Rajasthan Polo Club in Jaipur. Their association began in 2003 and the Sirmur Cup is now considered one of the prime global Polo events. To offer the whole city a flavor of the game, the telecom brand planned an interesting OOH campaign. The campaign was kicked off for 15 days in Jaipur city with an aim to inform the audience.
Vodafone created a 30*15 feet hoarding at the Gaurav Tower flyover, one of the most important locations of Jaipur. The site is viewed by almost 20,000 people daily. The site showcases a stage platform on a hoarding, which has 2D curtains with Black-lit Rhombus and oscillating riders on horses to give the moving effect. The most attractive element is the circular movement of the mallet of one of the players hitting the ball. Another hoarding showcases a 2D cutout of the horse and the rider with the backdrop mounted on a platform at the Jaipur international airport.
