Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea unveiled a captivating new installation, the Chai Bansuri, at Punnami Ghat, Vijayawada, on the 5th and 6th of April. Set along the peaceful banks of the Krishna River, the installation brought to life the brand’s signature blend of “sukoon wali chai” and classical music in a way that was both immersive and unforgettable.

The Chai Bansuri isn’t just a visual centerpiece, it’s a sensory experience. As visitors gathered at 5 pm and 7 pm on both days, they were welcomed by the soft, meditative sounds of the bansuri, weaving through the evening air. It was a moment suspended in time where tea met tradition, and music met mood. Against the twilight backdrop of the river, the atmosphere transformed into a live symphony of calm and connection.

The structure featured a large tea kettle with a life-sized flute rising from its spout. The design was simple but symbolic: the kettle represented the everyday comfort of chai, while the flute stood for calm and classical music. A small seating area nearby allowed visitors to sit, listen, and spend a quiet moment.

The installation also served as a tribute to the brand’s deep-rooted association with Indian classical music, a connection that has defined Taj Mahal Tea for decades. By bringing this experience into a public space, the Chai Bansuri bridged heritage and everyday life, allowing people to not just witness, but feel the brand’s philosophy. It turned a city landmark into a stage for stillness, where every note and every sip invited a deeper appreciation for the simple, soulful pleasures that endure.
