Times OOH powers Amstrad-branded live weather updates on Mumbai airport DOOH screens
The updates run on 52 screens, targeted at both inbound and outbound passengers
Weather conditions in India vary widely across seasons and geographies through the year. People require different household appliances to cope with different weather conditions, be it the air-conditioner in the summer, room heater in the winter, or the dehumidifier in the monsoons. Amstrad has introduced its All Season Air Conditioners that have heating, cooling and dehumidifying functions.
Connecting with the weather aspect, Amstrad has launched a campaign that involves running live weather updates. The brand has partnered Times OOH to run live weather updates on 56 DOOH screens inside T2 of Mumbai International Airport.
“This sponsored update displays the weather at Mumbai to all returning passengers flying out from Mumbai Airport. The campaign also allows for outgoing travellers to know about the temperature in their own hometowns. This, coupled with the high dwell time at the airport, the swiftly approaching summer, and people spending more time indoors, would, I imagine, make people ponder over which air conditioner to invest in. This campaign from Amstrad is marketing at its finest!”, says Sumit Chadha, Business Head, Mumbai Airport – Times OOH.
Times OOH has also developed this live feed capability on Mumbai Metro network and at Indore and Coimbatore airports.
