Stellar Ace has announced the launch of WINK Hunt, an islandwide phygital game in Singapore that transforms daily commutes into exciting adventures. Commuters can embark on this fun journey as they ride the MRT, scanning QR codes strategically placed within MRT stations across Singapore, along the North-South Line, East-West Line, and Circle Line. At its core, WINK Hunt is about bringing joy, interactivity, and a touch of fun and lifestyle to the daily commute, encouraging everyone to embark on an exciting journey as they ride the MRT.
The excitement began on October 6, 2023 and will continue till 2 November 2023 at 11:59PM. What’s more, players from all walks of life can easily join the game using their smartphone browsers. Whether inside or outside the MRT gantries, the quest for QR codes promises excitement during the daily commute.
This phygital game transforms a commute into a hunt for collectible digital MRT station game cards to win exciting prizes. Scan and Collect Game Cards to Win!
Players need to look for WINK Hunt QR Codes “in” and “out” of MRT station gantries along the North-South, East-West and Circle Line Stations. After scanning, each player can get one of the following cards:
- Digital SMRT Game Cards – Ranges from 1-Star to 5-Star cards, depending on the rarity of the station cards.
- Power Cards – Cards that bring game-changing surprises. Sabotage, protect, or swap to advance the card collection and stay ahead of the competition.
- Reward Cards – Instant perks that bring players merchant promotions and discounts
To boost their chances of winning top prizes, players can invite friends to ‘Join My Team,’ forming a team of up to four members. Additionally, participants can earn more game cards by exploring the Brand Wall within the game, engaging with brands, and taking advantage of offers such as signing up for a DCS Card at MRT stations or making purchases at partner merchants, including Holland & Barrett, CUCKOO, OSIM and more.
The comprehensive list of prizes is made possible through the support of DCS Card Centre, SMRT Trains, Holland & Barrett, CUCKOO, Japan Airlines, Marigold, Maxi-Cash, OSIM, Trafalgar, Difflam, Etiqa Insurance, Flower Pig 360, Grab, PacificLight, Shaw Theatres, Sunshine Bakeries and Kallang Wave Mall.
Players who complete their collections ranging from 1-Star to 5-Star cards will get to claim prizes including the DCS collection where players can win $50 EZ Link cards upon completion. With a total of $250,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, including business class flight tickets and hotel stay for Tokyo, holiday packages for the US & Europe, a luxurious OSIM massage chair worth more than $10,000, and more, the stakes have never been higher. Players will also find delight in winning other prizes such as iPhone 15 Pro, CUCKOO products worth up to $7,899, jewellery, movie passes and more from a diverse pool, enhancing the game with an element of suspense and unexpected rewards.
