The Asahi Future Clock embedded in the billboard symbolizes the vision of the futuristic brand
Asahi Super Dry was the first ever dry beer brewed using the revolutionary Karakuchi process in 1987. In celebration of this forward thinking, agency Barnes, Catmur & Frinds, Auckland, created the Asahi Future Clock. This clock was embedded in the billboard at prominent places in the city. The digital clock looked like a simple clock but the time displayed was always one day, one hour, one minute and one second ahead to symbolize the vision of the futuristic brand. Patrons of local bars have been kept on their toes with this future ready clock.
