Assam Tourism casts a spell on tourists with Ambubachi Mela promotion
Outreach Advertising planned and executed the massive campaign
Assam Tourism hosted one of the biggest festivals of Assam, Ambubachi Mela, from June 21 to June 25. Ambubachi Mela is celebrated every year and brings millions of tourists to the state of Assam. This year, the festival saw over 25 lakhs tourists visiting the state for the festival.
A high decibel OOH campaign was executed by Outreach Advertising which not only got the city’s attention but appreciation of all key stakeholders. “We used a variety of unconventional medium to tell the Ambubachi story in a very interesting way like it was never done before. Apart from hoardings, we did 10 bus shelters with LED cut outs, road-cross gates with mast head cut outs empowering the temple top. We also used a variety of small formats like flags on street poles, backlit pillars across the Kamakhya hill from hilltop to foothills, branded tents and large garden umbrellas for resting of pilgrims”, said Sunit Jain, Managing Director of Outreach Advertising.
