AAP-GFP takes its electoral message to Goa’s OOH landscape

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Goa Forward Party (GFP) have taken their campaign messaging to the streets of Goa with a series of hoardings carrying a direct appeal to voters ahead of the state’s 2027 Assembly elections. Reports published in September 2026 said the joint hoardings appeared along highways in Goa as the two parties moved towards a formal electoral alliance. 

The creative uses a striking Goa-specific visual: a family overlooking the sea, with the message “Congress & BJP cheated you twice. Don’t let them cheat you the 3rd time.” The logos of AAP and GFP appear alongside the message, making the political proposition immediately identifiable. 

The visual treatment uses Goa itself as part of the communication. Rather than relying on a conventional political rally image or portraits of party leaders, the hoarding places the people at the centre of the frame, with the coastline providing the backdrop. The combination of the scenic image and large, bold typography gives the message prominence from a distance. 

The line refers to the parties’ criticism of the political record of Congress and BJP in Goa. Media reports have connected the “twice” reference to defections by Congress MLAs to the BJP following the 2017 and 2022 Assembly elections.
