Zero Degree, PlayAds in partnership to market DOOH screens

As per the strategic partnership, both the OOH firms will share their marketing rights on the digital screens installed by PlayAds

Zero DegreeCochin based Zero Degree is all set to embark on a strategic partnership with DOOH firm PlayAds Digital Network Media. As per the partnership, both the OOH firms will share their marketing rights on the digital screens installed by PlayAds. Earlier PlayAds had won tender rights issued by Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) for 15 locations and the firm had invested in the installation of digital screens across the state.

PlayadsAs per this new contract, Zero Degree will be the exclusive partner for marketing the digital screens of size 24 X 14 feet across 15 locations including Trivandrum, Kollam, Attingal, Karunagapally, Kadinamkulam, Haripad, Ernakulam, Thiruvalla, Kottarakkara, Angamaly, Thrissur, Malappuram, Palakkad, Kannur and others where clients of both the companies will share the advertising slots.

Speaking about the collaboration, Icy Varghese, Managing Director, PlayAds Digital Network Media shares, “The partnership with Zero Degree that we have entered into is going to be a success because it is a synergy between PlayAds’ technical expertise and Zero Degree’s marketing expertise and that is definitely great for both of us.”

PlayAds’ brand portfolio includes clients such as Samsung, Google, Oppo, LICI and others. This property shall be available for 10 slots across 20 locations wherein 15 sites have been confirmed and the rest 5 are yet to be confirmed.

“There is a possibility to customise brands in the DOOH screens according to the budget available with them. For instance, if any brand finds the cost of 30 seconds slot expensive, they can choose the 15 seconds slot at half the cost or even a 10 or 20 seconds slot at a proportionate cost in accordance with the budget available. In addition, DOOH screens also offer flexibility of loading different campaigns in their stipulated duration of slot. The brands having products and services can choose to publish their different creatives during different times or in different display cycles. No other media can offer such flexibility as the digital media does. Advertisers can buy a slot and they can choose to play on the media based on their choice. I think this is the ultimate flexibility and it offers value for every penny they spent," Icy Varghese adds.

Dany Antony, Managing Director of Zero Degree shares, “We are hiring digital boards and we shall be marketing them jointly. We are looking forward to working together with PlayAds on a long term basis.”
