UDD notifies withdrawal of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Advertisements Rules, 2021 with immediate effect

The department has not specified the reasons for withdrawing the Ad Rules.


In a surprising move, the Urban Development Department (UDD) of Government of Karnataka has withdrawn the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Advertisements Rules, 2021 with immediate effect through a notification issued on September 14, 2021. The Ad Rules 2021 were earlier notified (No. UDD 439 MNU 2018 (P-2) by the UDD on July 26, 2021.

The new UDD notification does not specify the reasons for the Ad Rules to be withdrawn. Media4Growth will be obtaining more details on this soon.
