The corporation is focusing on decluttering the city skyline

It is learnt that the Thane Municipal Corporation has decided to revise the body’s ad policy to address the issue of cluttering of media sites in the city.  The cluttered sites have undermined the city skyline. The current ad policy is in force for two years now.

Speaking to M4G, Ashok Burpalle, Deputy Commissioner of TMC, said: “The corporation’s focus is on beautification of the city. We will study and identify as to which type of media and specific sizes are suitable for which location within the city.” The corporation will also look at alternative locations for the sites.

The policy is expected to be out in the next 10 days.
