The OOH firm has won the rights for a period of 7 years
The Calicut International Airport, which is operational since 1988, is the third busiest airport in Kerala – after the airports in Kochi and Trivandrum – and connected with Middle East cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dammam, Doha, Muscat, Ras Al Khaimah, Riyadh, Salalah, and Sharjah, as well as domestic destinations like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kannur, among others. There are over 12 airlines operating from the airport.
Commenting on the rights win, S Kumar, MD, Srishti Group told Media4Growth that the company is proactively expanding its media ownership and network in the airport media space where advertising brands are exhibiting high interest to run their brand campaigns. He added that the airport media is increasingly tech-driven and facilitates innovative and engaging brand advertising. With India’s air passenger traffic volume rapidly increasing year-on-year, there is a strong reason for directing media investments in this area, he pointed out.
